The information super highway is taking the over the world economy. More and more companies are turning to influential bloggers to help them connect with their audience. If you have ever considered a momblog, dadblog, or anythingblog, now is a great time to enter this business.

Even companies like Coach, Nike, Ping (golf equipment), and IBM have learned the importance of influential bloggers. By this I mean they are paying bloggers to advertise on their webpage, wear their products and post pictures, write reviews, and visit places. We’re not talking “Google Ads”, this is much more than that. Like Coach paying a Kardashian to carry their purse and post pics on instagram.

Here’s an excellent (quick and easy to read) article from Hubspot to understand what is happening in the world today. It is really amazing, and there is no better time than right now to start a business from the comfort of your own home. Leave behind the 8-6 (formerly 9-5), the commuting, and work whenever, from wherever you want!

This is something I personally recommend, and anyone can do it. If you would like to learn more about the community I started with, you can either read my post here or visit the website here. Or just ask me about it in the comment section below. The community is free and you get help all along the way.

  1. These all seem easy and almost effortless enough, even for me! Seriously, I so want to work from home but due to terrible internet service in my area and a new computer that I found out does not meet the standards for most customer service jobs, I have been feeling like it may never happen. But your Top 10 list gives me hope. Thank you!

    1. Hey Carla, nice to meet you! Sorry to hear about that. If your computer doesn’t meet the standard perhaps there are programs you can install – maybe even free ones via the CNET website. Another alternative, depending on the age of the computer, would be to bring it back and buy one that meets the required standards. This is an open forum, so please let me know what requirements you are missing and maybe we can find you some alternatives. As far as the internet goes… you may need to purchase a hotspot. Both of these items (computer and internet fees) would be tax write-off for you if you were to move forward. In any event, if you come up with a solution, please feel free to share. I appreciate your comment! My Best to you!

  2. Thank you so much for all the information I read a lot of the comments and these people seem to think that you are just an awesome person and I see that you reply back I respect that and I think that’s wonderful I’m going to follow up on your blogs thank you so much

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed this article. I have been researching doing my own blog. What confuses me, is that they say $2.95 per month and then when I get ready to jump in there are other fees. I would like to try it out as cheaply as possible to see if I like doing the blogging thing, but not to invest a lot of money up front. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  5. Some excellent suggestions. I am going to give them a try. I particularly appreciate the fact that you provide lists of genuine hiring sites! There are so many skams out there that are a waste of time (and sometimes money).
This article is a valuable resource for those of us seeking work from home. Thank you.

    1. Hi Marilyn, great to meet you! Thanks for your comment and I appreciate the notion because I have read all about the sites you mentioned. You should check out the 33 companies that want to pay you for freelance writing skills. The great thing about them is you can choose topics you love to write about. Everyone knows something, whether it be parenting, marriage, or just life as a woman/man. You don’t need to be an experienced writer either, so no pressure there. I am so excited about this list. Check it out here! -Anthony

  6. A most interesting article! I’ve read a few similar but this has been the best and has the best information. I have scattered abilities in graphic, data, photography, art and several other fields that makes this an interesting way to work from home. If you’re 77 years young and have multiple health problems AND wheelchair bound, and either need or just want to work as is my situation these possibilities fit perfectly. Thanks for sharing information that is fantastically helpful ..especially for an aging communPatity.

    1. Hi Pat! Nice to meet you and thank so much for your wonderful reply! I am so happy to hear this, I looked around and tried several of these opportunities before writing down the list. Although I share other less interesting ways to make extra spending cash, I am most proud of these sites that pay well and allow you to work on your own time schedule. There is a freelance writing post as well, that I believe is a fantastic fit for people that are 77 years young looking for extra money here and there. Even if you were looking to travel… you could certainly do these things abroad! All the best to you, and thank you again for visiting and leaving such a lovely comment! Cheers – Anthony

  7. This is a good read! I would love to work from home, are there any start up costs? Or required quiet background? I’m a mommy with a household far from quiet.

    1. Hi Sade, nice to meet you and thanks for your comment! It depends on the company you choose. I can identify with a “not so quiet” home lol. For the most part, these companies will allow for some noise and NO there are no start up costs. I say this with this caveat, unless you don’t already have an internet connection, a computer, and the system requirements (which are basic and likely already on your computer), then you may have some start up costs. But, if you are like the average person in the world, you probably have everything you need in house to get you going! Don’t be afraid to reach out to these companies for more information. It’s a great way to find out more and to build a relationship! Best of luck! – Anthony
